info about a summer job

from Dr. Michelle Ronda, a Criminal Justice professor at BMCC:

BMCC Students and Alumni (or soon-to-be alumni!):

Would you like a summer job near campus?

Would you like to support public parks?

Would you like to learn about research and build your résumé?

Would you like a flexible work schedule, to work on a great team, and have a fun and rewarding summer job?

If so, we may have just the job for you!

Faculty in the Social Sciences, Human Services, and Criminal Justice Department have teamed up with our local neighbor, the Battery Park City Authority, on a research study about the public parks of Battery Park City.

Professors Isserles (Sociology) and Ronda (Criminal Justice) will be supervising this project about the public parks of Battery Park City this spring, summer, and fall, and we are inviting students to apply for paid work as research assistants and research supervisors.

For more information about this great opportunity, please contact Professor Michelle Ronda at and include:

  • Your name, address, and phone
  • Your major
  • Any relevant research experience (in class or employment)
